Tiny Mite Team At this point, we are not sure if there will be a Tiny mite team. Several programs that had Tiny Mite teams last year are thinking about scuttling their Tiny Mites. If there is only two organizations that have Tiny Mites then organizing a team would not be fruitful. The BOD is currently looking for other teams outside of our league who plan on having Tiny Mites, but as of this moment the fate of our Tiny Mite team is tentative. However, if we have a Tiny Mite team the age limit will be 5-6. Children who are 6 years of age will have the option of competing for a spot on the Mighty Mite or Tiny Mite level. Coaches Leaving LCJC is proud to announce that our coaches are committed to the organization. In fact, several coaches have moved up to higher levels in the organization to bring their dedication and motivation to help our kids excel! The solidarity in our organization will help create a concrete foundation for our youth competitors. Making LCJC truly one of the best programs in Elk Grove! To be more specific, the Tiny Mites, Mighty Mites, Jr Pee Wees, Pee Wees, and Jr Midget coaching staffs, from last season, are still in the organization. Most of these coaches have moved up from one level to the next. I think LCJC is the best place for your nephews to play football, and I hope we can accommodate them!! Hope to see you this summer!! Hi Mom w/questions! I hope you found the newsletter informative; it is part of the new BOD’s effort to provide better communication with our organization. In addition, if I fail to answer any questions in their entirety please fill free to contact me! The first questions, Jones replacement. Before Jones resigned form the organization, he helped put in place a voting process in which all coaches are now voted in by the BOD. To complement those efforts, the currant BOD has decided to join USA Football, requiring all coaches to go through special training. All this was in an effort to improve the organization’s coaching staff and ultimately help our children reach a higher level of competition. Therefore, Jones did not leave someone in place, but he did however, help develop a process where the best coach could be selected for the position.
